Make second set of tick marks slightly less than 2 mm below (toward handle) original tick marks.

1) Wrap eye color across original tick marks.

2) Wrap another thread of eye color above first wrap.

3) Wrap three threads of body color above eye wrap to create the head.

4) Wrap one thread of body color on second set of tick marks to create the wing/tail.

5) Wrap one thread of background color below wing/tail wrap and one thread of background color above head wrap.

6) Wrap one thread of body color above first wrap of wing/tail.  Followed by one thread of background color below wing/tail and two threads of background color above head.

7) Wrap one thread of body color above first wrap of wing/tail.  Followed by one thread of background color below wing/tail and three threads of background color above head.

8-9) Continue this pattern adding one thread to background color wrap above head each time.

10) Wrap background color on top and on bottom of completed thunderbird and add other decoration as desired.
