For size A thread make offset center line approximately 2.25 mm to the left of the center line. For size D thread make the offset line approximately 3.5 mm from the center line.

1) Cross wrap eye color across tick marks along offset center line.

2) Cross wrap inside head/body color on both the top and bottom of eye. Wrap one cross wrap of the fin/tail color to the right of head.

3) Continue wrapping to the right of the head. When wrapping up use head/body color. When wrapping down start with the head/body color and switch between this and the fin/tail color to create three stripes. Finish with one cross wrap of the head/body color. "Body" should be 7 threads thick.

4) Starting at a "three thread space" to the right of the body wrap one cross wrap of the background color followed by one cross wrap of the fin/tail color to the left of this background color wrap. This will build the tail.

5) Wrap two cross wraps of background color to the right of the tail followed by one cross wrap of fin/tail color to the left of the tail and another cross wrap of fin/tail color to the left of the head.

6) Wrap three cross wraps of background color to the right of the tail followed by one cross wrap of fin/tail color to the left of the tail and another cross wrap of fin/tail color to the left of the head.

7) Cross wrap multiple threads of background color around entire fish to complete the wrap. Add additional decoration as desired.

Note: One of my favorite color combinations is to use metallic black for the eye color, black, navy blue, or cobalt blue for the background color, Metallic Silver for the head/body color, and another metallic color for the fin/tail.
